These Tikka T3/T3x bolt shroud springs are virtually identical to the original bold shroud spring. These springs are made from stainless steel alloy wire for superior corrosion resistance.

The original Tikka T3 had a plastic shroud. That shroud didn’t require a spring to prevent metal-on-metal noise from occurring. This due to a necessary tolerance that the bolt shroud has designed into it when attached to the firing pin assembly. However the Tikka T3x bolt shroud does, and a shroud spring is required.

This original spring can be easily misplaced during cleaning and maintenance. Therefore these springs act as a backup in case your original spring got damaged.

We include 3 springs (all identical) to minimize the likelihood of them ever needing to be reordered.
