This bolt knob offers some important advantages compared to other bolt knobs due to it’s shape, weight and aluminium material used. Therefore you will gain more leverage to release stuck rounds in the chamber due to the shape. Also you will get a better grip, easier and faster bolt handling due to it’s shape and anodized aluminum.
Lumley produces these oversized tactical aluminium bolt knobs in significant volume to keep the price as low as possible. We think it is difficult to find a stronger, harder and more durable alloy knob at this price.
Material
This bolt knob is made from from high strength 7075-T76 aluminum alloy which is then mil-spec hard coat anodized (type 3) for durability. Furthermore the knob has 5/16″ x 24 TPI threads. The threaded section is 1.2″ (30.5mm) deep, so it will shoulder up against every type of handle we’ve come across.
Our alloy knobs are CNC turned to tight tolerances and weight only 10oz/33.6grams.
Installation
Just screw the bolt knob on to the handle of your rifle.
