Description

This grade 5 Titanium Alloy (Ti6Al4V) bolt knob is the result of feedback from many customers over the years. It appeared that there is a need for a slightly smaller knob but still gain extra leverage and clearance. Therefore Lumley made this bolt knob sit in between the tactical and 1″ round bolt knobs.

This intermediate sized bolt knob made of titanium with a natural finish (‘as-machined’ finish) includes a recessed end allowing for the bolt to be cycled using just an index finger or thumb for faster and easier bolt handling. Additionaly the design gives you also more leverage to release stuck rounds in the chamber.

This is an ideal knob for PRS competition rifles where fast bolt cycling and scope clearance are critical. You will not find a stronger and lighter bolt knob anywhere!

Construction

The knob starts at a 0.47″ (12mm) stem diameter followed by a concave taper to a 0.75″ (19.05mm) diameter. The overall length of the knob is 1.25″ (31.75mm). A longer internal thread of 0.7″ allow fitment to a wider range of factory handles as well as our M6 thread adapter. This bolt knob has the common 5/16″ x 24 TPI thread which fits most bolt handles.

Material

Lumley makes these bolt knobs from aeorspace grade 5 titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) and produces for tight tolerances, concentricity and squareness.

Finish

This bolt knob is finished with an as-machined finish (silver color, no tooling marks).

Installation

Just screw the bolt knob on to the handle of your rifle.
