Tikka T1x Firing Pin Kit

Firing Pin, hardened and TiN coated.

This Tikka T1x Firing Pin Kit is high strength replacement for the Tikka T1x factory firing pin and also an alternative to the factory firing pin kit without the firing pin sleeve (Tikka reference S545204057).

We include our own version of the firing pin spring as well as the smaller firing pin return spring – both coiled from high quality music wire and then zinc plated. We turn our firing pins from O1 tool steel, then heat treat and quench the tips to approximately 55 HRC. They are then sent out for a durable titanium nitride PVD coating (‘TiN’ – gold color). These steps maximize the wear and corrosion resistance of this excellent high carbon steel. This is a useful spare part to keep on hand in case your striker breaks whilst out on the range.

Notes Tikka T1x Firing Pin Kit

• This kit fits both right-handed and left-handed rifles
• This kit fits both the factory chamberings of 22LR and 17HMR
• The firing pin spring and firing pin return spring are free inclusions
• The firing pin spring is designed with extra coils and may require some fitting (coils cut) to suit your specific rifle and ammunition used
• The firing pin return spring is the same design as the factory spring but with a slightly thicker wire diameter for increased tension
